On September 20, 2017, the strongest hurricane to hit Puerto Rico in almost a century, Hurricane Maria, devastated Puerto Rico and our community.

Nineteen months later, the Coalition of Latinx Scholars (CLS) present, "Post-Hurricane MarĂa: El Pueblo Unido, Will Never Be Defeated," which will center and spotlight Puerto Rican scholars and activists who will be sharing their unique experiences while working in Puerto Rico, and discussing the challenges and the work that is still needed as the community works to rebuild post-Maria.

Please come and celebrate, honor, and support our resilient Puerto Rican community. CLS welcomes all to engage in rich discussions on the current state of the island. A reception to follow.
