Qualitative and Mixed Methods Data Analysis with Dedoose (Online)
Learn to use Dedoose, a powerful cloud-based platform for analyzing qualitative and mixed methods data. This hands-on workshop is designed for faculty, researchers, and students who want to streamline their research analysis process.
Participants will explore key features including data import and organization, codebook development, coding techniques, data visualization, and team collaboration tools. We’ll cover practical applications for interview transcripts, surveys, and multimedia content, with special attention to mixed-methods integration and inter-rater reliability testing.
No prior experience with Dedoose is required. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops to follow along with sample datasets and hands-on exercises. You’ll leave with the skills to set up projects, code data, run analyses, and leverage Dedoose’s collaborative features for your research needs.
This workshop includes demonstrations using Dedoose’s products/services. The inclusion of this vendor does not imply endorsement by TC or DFI, but is intended to provide participants with practical exposure to tools commonly used in the field.
