As a part of Taste of Harlem week, Graduate Student Life & Development (GSLD) is hosting a virtual event with the Lenape Center. Learn more about the Lenape Tribe, whose land we live and learn on at Teachers College, through discussion, personal stories, and storytelling from two members of the Lenape Center.
Taste of Harlem is the annual week-long program at Teachers College that provides an opportunity to celebrate and learn about Harlem, the neighborhood TC is a part of. As the TC community learns, works, and resides in Harlem, it is important to engage and support this vibrant and historical New York City community. TC students are able to explore Harlem with their peers by attending restaurant outings, meet-ups, walking tours, jazz club performances, and more! GSLD is excited to open up this event to the whole TC community.
