Director of Institutional Research

John Saul has a MS in Management Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University.  After spending almost 2 decades at Drew University doing Information Technology work specializing in Administrative Technology, John transitioned to Teachers College and joined Institutional Research. John’s work focuses on data extraction and cleaning, combining data from all of the various administrative systems at the college, report design and development along with advanced data analysis to support the College’s mission.

Assistant Director of Institutional Research

Kimberly Woo received her Ph.D. from the Multilingual Multicultural Studies program in NYU Steinhardt. Prior to joining TC, Kim worked as the Program Evaluation and Accreditation Assessment Manager for NYU Steinhardt and conducted research focusing on issues of assessment for various populations including pre-service teachers and young language learners. Kim has also taught in New York City public schools. As part of Institutional Research, Kim oversees and manages the Teachers College course evaluation system and provides support for college surveys.

Institutional Data Analyst

Yufan Shen holds a Master's degree in Applied Statistics from Fordham University. Before transitioning to the role of Institutional Data Analyst at TC, Yufan spent three years serving as a Data Analyst in the Healthcare and Human Resource sectors, prioritizing data accuracy, integrity, and privacy. In her current role, Yufan provides institutional data analysis and visualization, supporting the academic and administrative functions of the institution. Additionally, she assists the Director of Data Governance and Institutional Reporting, ensuring accurate and timely responses to data requests from internal clients and official institutional data systems.

Assessment Analyst

Kat Yee earned her Ph.D. in Human Development from the University of Maryland, College Park, along with a graduate certificate in Measurement, Statistics, and Evaluation. Her work has focused on program assessment and evaluation, including evaluating the Human Development undergraduate program at UMD and developing and analyzing measures to assess student learning and program effectiveness. She also brings a research background in social-cognitive development, having conducted research on intergroup attitudes and moral reasoning in both Maryland and New York City public schools. At TC, Kat supports institutional research and assessment initiatives, including coordinating course evaluations and college-wide surveys.
