The Programs in Anthropology are pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Limerick to the faculty.
Nicholas Limerick is receiving his doctorate in Anthropology and Educational Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2015.
Limerick's dissertation is concerned with Quichua use, the politics and discourses of bilingual education and social-political movements in Ecuador.
He is the author of "Recontextualizing Ideologies about Social Difference in New York Spanish-language Newspaper Advertising." Language & Communication, 32(4), 312-328. (2012).
