AI and Latino Youth Study
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! How do you use AI?
We are conducting a research study to understand how Latino/a youth engage with AI inside and outside of school.
We are looking for students who identify as Hispanic or Latino/a and are currently enrolled in grades 9-12 in a NYC school to participate in our digital survey.
The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Survey respondents will receive a $15 digital gift card for their participation.
Your responses will be kept confidential and used for research purposes only.

As part of the Latinidad Curriculum Initiative for New York City Public Schools (NYCPS), the Edmund W. Gordon Institute of Advanced Study at Teachers College is conducting a survey on how Latino and Hispanic youth in grades 9-12 engage with AI, both inside and outside of school. The aim of this study is to understand how best to tailor and use AI technologies to support education and wellbeing.
The study consists of a 30 minute online survey that is accessible via the link below https://tinyurl.com/AILATINOYOUTH. Eligible participants who take the survey will receive a $15 gift card for their time. This study is voluntary, and anyone interested in participating must actively sign up to be included.
We are committed to doing our best to answer any questions and provide information before, during, and after the study. We will also inform participants and their guardians of any new information that may affect their decision as to whether or not to participate in this research study. All guardians will be informed of any significant new findings discovered during the course of this study that might influence your child’s health, welfare, or willingness to continue participation in this study.
