A symposium – “From practice to practice: What novice teachers and teacher educators can learn from one another” – held at the Annual Conference of the American Educational Research Association in New York City in 2008 accompanied the development of this exhibition. Participants in that symposium included Thomas Hatch, Pamela Grossman, Emily Venson, Travis Bristol and Magdelene Lampert (see the proposal [PDF] for a description of the session).
