Melissa De los Rios Morales is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Organization and Leadership at Columbia University, researching the implementation and impact of Artificial Intelligence in Organizational Learning for the Development of Smart/Agile Organizations, Employee Growth, and Talent Development.

Melissa's passion for creating continuous learning opportunities at organizations inspired her to join AEGIS, a highly selective doctoral program composed of diverse leaders from multiple countries and industries, who aim to continue their professional development as research practitioners while continuing to work and grow at their organizations.

Melissa started her career at Columbia Medical Center of Epidemiology, transitioned into the Financial Industry growing in the Field of Talent Management, and is currently a Leadership Development Associate Vice President at Morgan Stanley. She has a Master’s in International Business Management from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a Post-Baccalaureate in Business from Columbia University, and a dual Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Management, Honors. She is also a member of the ALPFA Professional Development Committee at Morgan Stanley, and a member of Columbia Women Business Society.

Her research and insight will inform industries of ways in which organizations can reinvent their structure and practices in the age of an AI mediated 4th Industrial Revolution. Melissa is committed to excellence in everything she does.
