Aimee LaPointe Terosky

Aimee LaPointe Terosky, Associate Professor of educational leadership and higher education, at Saint Joseph University, has been promoted to Full Professor.  Aimee earned her EDD in Higher and Postsecondary Education here at TC, in 2005.

Aimee's expertise is in college teaching and learning (including community-engaged teaching), faculty work and careers, and instructional leadership in K-12 schools.  At St. Joseph University, she is Director of the Interdisciplinary Doctor of Education Program for Educational Leaders.  Her record indicates balanced accomplishments in K-12 and higher education research.  Aimee was adjunct professor in HPSE between 2005 and 2010.  She is a former school teacher and was assistant principal of Public School #334 in NYC.  An accomplished scholar, teacher, and mentor, Aimee's awards include: Spencer Foundation Research Training Grant award, AAHE K. Patricia Cross Future Leader of Higher Education Award, Bobby Wright ASHE Dissertation of the Year award, NYC Blackboard Awards for Outstanding Public Middle School, SJU Teaching Merit Award, and Research Merit Award, among others.
