
Jason Pedraza (MA '16) is joining the Colorado Attorney General's Office in June 2022 as an Assistant Attorney General in the Higher Education Unit.
In this role, Jason will serve as general counsel to several postsecondary institutions, provide legal and policy advice to clients on a range of higher ed issues, and litigate matters in administrative, state, and federal courts.
Jason currently serves as a law clerk to Justice William Hood of the Colorado Supreme Court. Before that, he completed a two-year Skadden Fellowship with the Education Law Center in New Jersey. He attended NYU Law as a Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholar after earning a master's in higher & postsecondary education from Teachers College and bachelor's from Princeton University.
