Each year The United States Army War College (USAWC) sends up to two high ranking personnel to study under and be mentored by Dr. W. Warner Burke. These officers, at the rank of Colonel or higher, conduct research on the Army itself as an institution and apply social-organizational theories to their studies. Fellows audit courses, attend colloquia, collaborate with doctoral students and faculty, and immerse themselves into the research community during their one year fellowship.
