Due to COVID-19 quarantine, all in-person study activities with human subjects are suspended.
Following guidance from New York State and Teachers College, the Institutional Review Board will announce when in-person research can resume and what steps to take at that time. For more information, visit the Research Compliance and Safety Committee website.
Unexpected events (e.g., broken water lines, extended loss of electricity, natural disasters) may require researchers to change their research procedures in order to accommodate concerns related to the emergency situation. Researchers can create emergency response plans. Visit the “Adapting Research in an Emergency” blog for guidance on emergency response plans for researchers.
