Rebecca is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is from Albany, New York and has studied abroad in Sydney, Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Nutrition at New York University in 2021. Outside of school, Rebecca enjoys dance, karaoke, and exploring various food options around the city.
Selema (Lema) received her Masters of Education in Student Development & Administration from Seattle University and since graduating has worked in Housing and Residential Life for over 15 years in both the west and east coasts. In 2015, Lema joined Teachers College and served as the Associate Director in the Office of Residential Services (ORS), until October 2022 where she transitioned to the Division of Student Affairs as the Director of Student Support and Advocacy. Lema is committed to making the TC student experience a positive and successful one for all students.
Apoorva is a first year MA Psychology in Education student. She is originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan, but also lived in Shanghai, China, and Chennai, India throughout grade school. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with minors in Environment and Health, Youth and Society, and Human Behavior and Social Services at Michigan State University in 2022. She aspires to become a Clinical Psychologist with a private practice and research how mood and anxiety disorder treatment can be made more culturally relevant. While not at the office, Apoorva enjoys listening to music, playing video games, watching sports, and taking walks around the city.
