Dear TC Community,

We write today with three important reminders about accessing campus. Thank you for reviewing this information and for your continued support and cooperation as we work together to keep our community healthy and safe.

1. Campus Access Requirements

  • Submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or your request for an exemption, at least 10 business days prior to your first visit to campus during the Fall 2021 semester. Please see TC’s list of approved exemptions and follow the steps for submitting your request.
  • Complete the COVID-19 safety training prior to your first visit.
  • Submit a negative PCR COVID-19 gateway test administered within 14 days of the date on which you plan to return to campus, if you have not been on campus since May 17.
  • Complete the Daily Health Screening, via your internet browser or the myTC app, before your arrival on each day you plan to access campus and confirm that you have received a (green check).

Please note: TC students, faculty, staff and affiliates must complete the TC Daily Health Screening and NOT the ReOpen CU App before returning to campus in order to ensure that your ID card remains active and enables swipe access to campus buildings. The CU ReOpen App is not intended for the TC community; if you use it, you will receive a (red x) upon completion of the screening.

Refer to our Campus Access Checklists for more information.

2. Get vaccinated, even if you are studying/working remotely

Even if you are studying/working remotely, TC asks that you get vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination is the most effective step we can take to protect ourselves and our community members from the virus -- regardless of where they are located. You may also need to come to campus unexpectedly, and will need to fulfill the College’s vaccination and other requirements in order to enter campus.

3. Continue following health and safety guidelines

Our colleagues at CU have recently observed an increase in transmission of the COVID-19 virus that is occurring in social settings where undergraduate students have congregated indoors and unmasked. In an effort to minimize community transmission of the COVID-19 virus, we ask you to please:

Thank you again for your continued compliance with our campus access and other safety requirements. Please continue to visit the TC Preparedness site for updates about COVID-19 guidelines and procedures, and email us at returntocampus@tc.edu with questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
