The A&H Committee on Diversity, Community, and Social Justice invites participation in two opportunities:

Pandemic Discussion

Opportunities are available for students, staff, and faculty to gather and discuss issues of access and equity during virtual work/instruction and to mindfully consider how to move forward as a community as we return to face-to-face or hybrid work/instruction. If you are interested in participating in a discussion please use this Google Form to share your contact information.

Interested participants will be organized into small groups, according to availability.

Funding Grants

Funding grants are available for a series of Diversity Events for Spring semester 2021. Proposals should creatively engage members of the student body and foster a sense of community through virtual environments. Events may be synchronous or asynchronous. Diversity Grants are open to all current Arts & Humanities students and student groups. The committee will begin reviewing proposals on Monday, February 22, 2021 with grant proposals reviewed on a rolling basis thereafter. Awards are limited to $ 200 per event.

To submit a proposal, please use this Google Form.

The Department of Arts & Humanities strives to foster diversity, inclusion, community, and social justice, as well as to support student initiatives that work toward these goals in creative and participatory ways. Grants are aimed at disrupting feelings of isolation and marginalization at TC. The call is intentionally broad and open-ended to provide applicants with the opportunity to creatively and collaboratively make change at Teachers College.
