Placement Testing

New students for ESL and English special courses must be able to come to the CLP on one of the testing dates in order to be eligible to take classes. Absolutely no exceptions.

Those dates are:

Tuesday, May 28

Wednesday, May 29

Thursday, May 30

You will select a test time and make an appointment upon registering and paying for your courses. There are no make-up test dates, so please consult your calendar prior to registering.

Maximum number of courses

Students are very strongly encouraged to think about workload and their personal schedules before registering for multiple classes. Students may not resgister for more than 3 classes.  Any student who registers for more than 3 courses without authorization from the Program will lose his/her seat in the additional courses.

**Please see the IRLP page for more information on the IRLP program dates and registration details**.

Please note: IRLP courses are only for individuals with official visiting researcher positions at Teachers College, Columbia University, or other local insitutions of higher education.
