Registration Deadlines and Course Dates:

Registration for CLP is now open!!

Registration for all CLP courses will close on January 3. CLP classes in spring 2019 will be: February 4-April 20. 

Registration for Spring 2019 IRLP classes will open on October 29th and close on January 14th. IRLP classes in spring 2019 will be: January 28-March 29th. Please see the IRLP page for more information.

*Fall 2018 registration is closed for all programs. 


Space in Special Classes

*Please note that space in the following special classes will be very limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis for spring 2019: Conversation, Pronunciation, Writing, Grammar & Writing, TOEFL. We strongly encourage you to take an ESL class as an alternative. 

Placement Testing

New students for ESL and English special courses must be able to come to the CLP on one of the testing dates in order to be eligible to take classes. Absolutely no exceptions.

Those dates are:

Tuesday, January 8

Wednesday, January 9

Thursday, January 10

Monday, January 14

Tuesday, January 15

You will select a test time and make an appointment upon registering and paying for your courses. There are no make-up test dates, so please consult your calendar prior to registering. 

Foreign Language Placement Testing 

Placement testing for Spanish B2 level will be arranged over email once you register. If you are continuing from B1, you do not need to take a placement test. The fee for the Spanish placement test is $5 and will not be refunded after the test has been administered. 

There is no placement test for French B1 as it is a course for true beginners. 

Maximum number of courses

Students are very strongly encouraged to think about workload and their personal schedules before registering for multiple classes. For a student to take more than three courses with the CLP, they must receive special permission by emailing the administration at Any student who registers for more than 3 courses without authorization from the Program will lose his/her seat in the additional courses.
