We are getting ready for our fifth and final workshop of Disability Imaginings for this semester. We have really enjoyed making handmade paper with you while exploring Eli Clare’s ideas around imperfection, and creating art and dialoging in new ways with artful activist DJ Savarese (captioned video and photos coming soon).
On Friday, April 19, from 2PM-6PM we will ask how nature bodies, plant bodies, and our own human bodies can inform our understandings of the environments that we are a part of.
We invite you to bring your own plants or flowers, as well as any cloths or fabrics that are special to you to add to your paper pulps. We will explore what it means to mix together plant and human things as we create paper together.
