Dr. Portia Williams is the new Associate Provost for International Affairs. Provost Stephanie Rowley shared the news with the TC community earlier this week, highlighting the work of Dr. Williams: "Portia brings more than 25 years of experience in international education and development to this role. She is a TC alumna, who holds a doctorate in International Educational Development and Policy Studies, and she has worked in most regions of the world, including North and Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, East and Southern Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Portia was the founding director of OIA in 2008, and has led the College in expanding its global footprint from a handful of countries at that time, to more than 50 today. In her new role, Portia will continue overseeing our international partnerships and institutional collaborations, while also overseeing the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISS)."
