Professional Standards for Educational Leaders

The Urban Education Leaders Program (UELP) at Teachers College prepares aspiring district and systems-level education leaders with research-based practices, strategies, and traditional and critical theories of leadership designed to nourish and fuel their capacity to create the conditions conductive to high quality teaching, learning, reflection, and action. Our program of study is aligned to the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL) as approved om 2015 by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and The National Policy Board for Educational Administration (NPBEA)
