The Provost's Grant offers financial assistance for any registered student who has attended or presented at an academic conference within the term that they are applying. Students are encouraged to apply once all application materials are gathered and can be submitted together at time of application.

Award stipends are to be utilized for reimbursement exclusively for the purposes of registration, membership, printing, and travel costs (excluding food/beverage, and luxury expenses i.e. first class tickets) associated with attending, presenting research at an academic conference. Reimbursements must be submitted with itemized copies of receipts for award consideration.

Students MUST BE registered for the term in which they are attending, presenting and requesting reimbursement. If you are a continuing student and attending or presenting during Winter academic recess, please submit your request for reimbursement during the Spring term. If you are attending or presenting during the Summer but not taking summer classes, please submit your request for reimbursement during the Fall term. If you are a continuing student, and attending or presenting during the Summer and not registered for a summer class, please submit your request for reimbursement during the Fall term.

**If a student is requesting reimbursement for their final semester with anticipated graduation, all reimbursement requests and supporting documents must be submitted by the last day noted below for potential award consideration. Conference dates MUST precede Commencement/degree conferral; students who have received degree conferral are no longer eligible for financial stipends.**

Students cannot apply in advance of their conference and receive funding preemptively. All requests will be honored as a reimbursement, pending all necessary documentation. Students MUST BE registered (at least 1-credit COE or 8900-level) for the term in which they are presenting and seeking reimbursement (i.e., if you are applying for a summer conference, you MUST be registered in either Summer A/B).
