Microsoft Photos/Video Editor

Microsoft Photos/Video Editor

What is Microsoft Photos/Video Editor?

Microsoft Photos/Video Editor is a replacement for Windows Movie Maker in Windows 10 that allows you to view and edit your photos and videos, make movies, and create albums. The video remix feature allows you to instantly create a video from photos and videos you select. The video editor has various adjustments available for you — change filters, text, camera motion, music, and more. You can even add 3D effects like butterflies, lasers, or explosions that magically appear in your video.

Availability

Microsoft Photos/Video Editor is available through any computer devices with Windows 10 installed and it is recommended for all TC faculty, staff and students to use for teaching, learning and research.

Accessibility

Microsoft Photos/Video Editor meets most of Teacher College’s Accessibility Criteria.

  • Microsoft Photos/Video Editor has several native keystrokes and shortcut keys available to aid in navigation. Note that completion of certain tasks may require additional troubleshooting and experimentation.
  • Users can manually add titles, captions and audio recordings to the video.

If other accommodations are required, contact TC’s OASID for assistance.
