Thinglink

Thinglink

What is Thinglink?

Thinglink is an interactive platform that is designed to drive student engagement. It allows you to enhance images and videos by bringing them to life with the addition of voice, text notes, embedded websites and narrated 360 degrees virtual tours.

Availability

Products that are in the Active/Vendor-Supported category have been approved through the TC application assessment process. While these products are approved, please be aware that TC does not provide licenses or technical support for these products. Therefore, acquiring a license for the use of any product from this category will be the responsibility of the individual user or their respective department. You or your department may purchase the product licenses directly from the product vendor/website. You will also need to contact the vendor directly for technical support.

Accessibility

Thinglink meets all of Teacher College’s accessibility criteria. ThingLink has a built-in accessibility tool, the immersive reader. It also helps students become fluent in expressing themselves using multiple forms of media, not only text but also images, videos, and their own voice. To learn more about Thinglink’s accessibility, check out their official Accessibility statement.

Thinglink doesn’t feature any type of accessibility scanner so the developer is responsible for ensuring content created is accessible.

If other accommodations are required or if there are any questions about accessible content, contact TC’s OASID for assistance.
