Future of Teaching
The Future of Teaching Project is an ongoing effort that grows out of a set of reflections about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our institution and the teaching and learning efforts of our faculty and instructors. The project is comprised of a sustained set of activities that will call attention to the ways in which we imagine, design, implement, and cultivate pedagogically-rich experiences for our students and making use of the vast landscape of new media and digital technologies to meet that goal: a landscape analysis of teaching and technology in at Teachers College and across higher education, a monthly seminar on the future of teaching, and a task force appointed by President Bailey composed of trustees, faculty, and TC administrative staff.
