Hypothesis is a tool that faculty can enable in TC’s Canvas courses to create class discussions and provide students with the opportunity to participate in social reading and annotations based on specific text, such as classroom readings, news articles, blogs, scientific articles, and books.
Hypothesis is being piloted in the spring 2023 semester and is available to all TC faculty. Any instructors interested in learning more about Hypothesis should contact the Digital Futures Institute.
Hypothesis meets most of Teacher College’s accessibility criteria.
