Accommodations for Vulnerable Populations

Accommodations for Vulnerable Populations

Students, faculty, and staff at higher risk for severe illness with COVID-19 are asked to consult the CDC’s How to Protect Yourself & Others | CDC webpage and discuss concerns with their healthcare provider.

Students, faculty, and staff who wish to request an accommodation based on a documented medical disability that significantly affects their ability to participate fully and equitably in their education or to perform the essential functions of their job should contact the Office of Access and Services for Individuals with Disabilities (OASID), (212) 678-3689 tel, (646)755-3144 video phone, oasid@tc.columbia.edu for more information.

All equitable access and accommodation decisions will be determined on a case-by-case, individualized basis following the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1978.

All vulnerable populations on campus will have the ability to safely participate in educational, work-related, and other activities and take advantage of services based on accommodations provided.
