Daily Crime Log

Daily Crime and Fire Logs

The Clery Act Daily Crime Log is a record maintained by colleges and universities to document criminal incidents that occur on or near campus.

The TC Daily Crime Log will include information on all crimes that occur within TC’s Clery Geography and are reported to a Campus Security Authority.  This log contains details such as the date, time, nature, and location of each incident, as well as the disposition of any reported cases.

The TC Fire Log will include information on all fires that occur in Teachers College on-campus student housing.

In maintaining these logs, Teachers College promotes transparency and helps keep the campus community informed about safety concerns.  The logs are updated within two business days of receiving reports, ensuring that students, faculty, and staff have timely access to vital safety information.

The Teachers College Daily Crime Log and Fire Log are available for viewing at the Whittier Public Safety Desk located in the lobby of Whittier Hall at 1230 Amsterdam Avenue.  Anyone may request to view the logs at any time.   For a hard copy, please visit the Office of Public Safety located in Whittier Hall, Suite 1A, during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, excluding holidays.
