Enroll in eRefund!

Eliminate the wait! Enroll in eRefund!

We encourage you to subscribe to it on MyTC. This way, instead of having a paper refund check mailed to you, the funds will be directly deposited to your bank account. This method is safer and faster than having a paper refund check mailed to you.
 
With electronic refunds, you can:
  • Avoid long lines for receiving or cashing your refund check.
  • Receive your money faster, safer, and easier.
  • Keep more of what matters most -- your free time.

You can enroll in eRefund by following these steps:

  1. Login to MyTC (https://my.tc.columbia.edu)
  2. Click on the tab "Student Resources"
  3. Click on the link "Account Summary".
  4. Click on the button “Pay Now”. This will take you to the eBill & ePay site on Transact Payments.
  5. Click on "My Account" on the left side menu.
  6. There you will find a section marked "Direct deposit refunds".
  7. Click on the link "Sign up" to the right of the text "Student Account Refund".

If you get an "error" message, then follow these steps: NOTE: Your bank must be based in the United States, and you will need your bank account information (account & routing numbers) to enroll.

Debit/credit card information is not a valid bank account and will not be able to receive refunds.
