Teachers College Institutional Review Board (TC IRB) strives to support researchers through the application process and protocol lifespan. New IRB applications are submitted in Mentor IRB and all protocols are housed within the system. Researchers can make changes to their protocols by submitting a Modification. Additionally, they can report issues that arise through a Protocol Deviation or Adverse Event in Mentor IRB. TC Mentor IRB can be accessed by logging into my.tc.columbia.edu and clicking the Faculty, Student, or Employee Resources tab. You will find a link to Mentor IRB under the Research Resources tab. When a protocol is completed, researchers should be sure to close (or terminate) their protocol in Mentor IRB. IRB reviewers can be messaged directly through the Mentor IRB system.
