As we approach the conclusion of our performance cycle, it's time to engage in the ACE Year-End Review — a pivotal opportunity to reflect on your achievements, align with evolving priorities, and set the stage for continued growth.

Why the Year-End Review Matters

The ACE Performance Management process emphasizes continuous learning and adaptation. The Year-End Review is a structured conversation to:
  • Reflect on your progress toward SMARTER goals.
  • Align your contributions with shifting departmental needs and TC priorities.
  • Excel by identifying future development opportunities.

Preparing for Your Year-End Review

To make the most of this process:
Before the Meeting:
  • Review your goals, work samples, and feedback received throughout the year.
  • Complete your self-assessment, focusing on achievements and strengths, and identifying areas of opportunity.
  • Schedule a meeting with your manager, allowing sufficient time for preparation.
During the Meeting:
  • Engage in open, constructive dialogue.
  • Discuss your self-assessment and receive feedback.
  • Explore development opportunities and set goals for the upcoming cycle.
After the Meeting:
  • Your manager will finalize the performance category in the ACE system.
  • Review the summary to ensure it accurately reflects the discussion.
  • If needed, reach out to your HR Business Partner for further conversation.

Performance Categories: A Shared Understanding

The ACE framework emphasizes clear performance categories to guide evaluations. These categories serve as a common language, ensuring both employees and managers have a mutual understanding of performance expectations and outcomes.
