The College agrees to extend group health insurance benefits (medical and dental) under the "GHI Local 2110 Plan" to the same sex domestic partners of covered bargaining unit employees. The employee who desires coverage for his/her same sex domestic partner must complete the Teachers College affidavit of same-sex domestic partnership and comply with the College’s established certification process in order to verify cohabitation and financial interdependence. Benefit eligibility for same sex domestic partners shall not extend to the vision care or tuition remission programs provided by the College under other provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Medical: age 26 until the end of the year
Dental: age 19 until the end of the year or if a full-time student age 22 until the end of the birth month
Vision: age 19 until the end of the birth month or if a full-time student age 24 until the end of the birth month
